These ramps are robust enough to stay securely in place without needing to be permanently fixed. An industrial strength adhesive may be used to glue these ramps into place if preferred.
Kerb (curb) plates are heavy-duty, non-slip, galvanised plates used to traverse kerbs, gutters, drains, and steep driveways. At a generous width of 800mm, only one Kerb Plate is required for most wheelchairs and mobility aids to safely use. Rubber kerb ramps are also available. These can be used in pairs to provide wheelchair access up and over kerbs or gutters.

Permanent installation on steps or stairs will ensure that the risk of slipping is dramatically reduced. Non-slip stair nosing should be considered for all steps and stairs exposed to the elements. People with impaired walking abilities are much more likely to suffer a fall on wet or slippery surfaces. Stair nosing can be discreetly applied in black and silver options for a less ‘hi-vis’ industrial look.
