AED’s, or more commonly referred to as a Defibrillator, are used to revive someone from sudden cardiac arrest. AED’s read the heart rate speed and send a vital electrical shock to the patient’s heart. They are light weight, portable and battery operated and use voice prompts to assist the step-by-step procedure of reviving someone from cardiac arrest. Cardiac Arrest can happen to anyone, regardless of age or health, and having an easily accessible AED at your workplace may just save a life.
